MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of S.T.E.P.S. organization is to provide support services and advocacy to the socially disadvantaged. We focus on lifestyle changes including stable housing, then, promoting and maintaining physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth.

 
What we offer

 

WHAT WE OFFER:
1. Housing that offers clean, sober, and serene environments.
2. Social and legal evaluation and maintenance.
3. 12-Step and spiritual outreach and resources.
4. Self-sufficiency training and goal- setting with Certified Peer Specialist.
5. Other individual case management and special needs.
6. Collaboration with Social Workers to re-establish Family and Family Stability.
7. We are proud to be able to contract with recovery houses and transitional programs which allow us to be able to motivate, monitor, and manage the progress of the deserving individuals determined to step into new lifestyles.

There are 50 people currently enrolled in the S.T.E.P.S. program.

WE PARTICIPANT IN COUNTY PROGRAMS THAT ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GRADUATE FROM LIFESTLYES W/ TROUBLED PAST TO LIFESTYLES THAT ENCOURAGE BRIGHT, SUCCESFUL FUTURES.

Housing

 

Homeless, on Social Security, are you looking to start over?
AFFORDABLE Private Residence with family like, clean environments.

Structured like the Oxford Houses, we are self supporting at this time. We except, subsidy, vouchers and contract w/ recovery programs.

Each room or unit includes, cable tv, all utilities + Phone, Laundry room and more.

Must have 6 months clean and sober. NO credit check. Must have (2) character references.

EACH MODEST LOCATION IS IN COMPLIANCE W/ THE ANTI-DRUG ABUSE ACT OF 1988

WE ARE: Faith based, Participants of A.A. / N.A., A growing non-profit program.
24-Hour Peer Specialist on location / Weekly house meeting and group meeting(s) / Daily Contact with professional counsel.

• Internet connection
• Work and crisis materials
